I have been a client of Valiant since 2019. I paid them 30k for a FBA store and have had less that 1k in sales the entire time. No Profits, Only losses. They sold me on $50- $100k a month within about 6 months. Steven Mayer does not respond to emails or requests for calls. I am in the process of putting together a lawsuit of many Valiant clients in the same boat - so far around 60 have signed up to try recover this. I urge everyone to stay far away from this company and Steven Mayer. Please contact me at palladium8X@gmail.com if you want to join the lawsuit.
ReplyDeleteValiant Consultants is an absolute nightmare company. I regret the day I came on with them as a client.
ReplyDeleteHere is my story.
I started with Valiant Consultants in September 2019 (dropshipping model and I upgrade to FBA Wholesale in November).
They are not performing and they have terrible customer service. It's evident that they hire virtual assistants. When you contact them about an issue, they 1) Do not investigate it in depth 2) They don't get back to you on time or at all until you get persisting.
My most recent dilemma.
10k was made in purchase orders. I haven't recouped the PRODUCT COST JUST PRODUCT COST at all.
From that 10k I've done 11k in sales. 14k in sales means that Amazon takes 15% of that as their seller fee leaving $9350 in revenue. From that revenue, 10k came from product cost. Lets not forget Valiant partnered with Sales.Support to use their warehouse for prep, pack, and ship the wholesale items to Amazon's fulfillment centers. The shipping costs from them is extremely high and when Valiant sends you their invoice for the 30% split, they DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING COSTS in the profit/loss statement.
10k of purchased orders I've made, $3600 worth was NOT SENT to Amazons warehouse. Valiant Consultants did nothing to fix this gap. I was calculating things on my end and brought this to their attention. They first stated they did their investigation and nothing was wrong. I kept bugging them until they finally admitted that $3600 of it was never shipped and that they need to reconcile me that amount. They kept $3600 of my money and said they would credit me that in shipping costs or unclaimed profits (remember they don't even calculate profit accurately cause they DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING COSTS in the calculation).
So here's where I'm at
10k in purchase orders with my credit card (still paying the debt off)
$3600 in product that was never sent (they currently have my money)
I told them how are you gonna credit me the $3,600 if there is no product / sales flowing through my store. How is money gonna be made if thats the case?
They resorted to created FBM (Fulfilled by merchant) listings on my store. There is a listing up there for Chocolate Candy. They sell this for $36.00, they ship it from their warehouse (they use buy shipping to buy the shipping label (my seller central balance). They don't include the shipping cost in the profit statement so they bill me an invoice for $136 in profits (thats their 30% cut) but shipping is $8 per shipment so imagine how many shipments they've sent just to send me this bullshit invoice.
I've contacted them multiple times telling them this and they have not resolved the issue. I've wrote to their legal department formally requesting to void the contract and reimbursement the upfront 30k paid to them.
I'm still in the process of fixing this and multiple people have reached out to me saying they're forming a class action suit against this company. If you've made it this far, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
Do not buy into this dream. Trust me do not.
Hi, i am with valiant consultants since Dec 2019 and paid the 30k and its the worst thing I ever did!! I will make it short so they promised me in 6 months i would receive my startup money back and in 8-12 months I would be making 100k a month. I borrowed the 30k from a bank so ill have 20k+ to buy inventory, the first 3 months customer service was horrible and my store wasn't looked at by valiant, 4th month they started on my store and ordered my 2 new po's totalling $7200 because I pushed them hard to get me po's so I was happy in may when I got my products in my store but the products were not selling fast and most prices were way to high because they bought these products to high in price from wholesalers and now i'm stuck with over $3500 in inventory that its just sitting there
ReplyDeletesince may 2020 and my net profits so far is $200 with warehouse fees taken out then with amazon's $39.99 fee's and my loan payment of $800 month i'm in the negative and i keep telling them i want a refund for the past few months but they keep telling me there's no refunds, in August 2020 they charged me $1500 without telling me anything about the new po so i canceled my credit cards. I keep emailing customer support but no one will contact me anymore.. is customer support around anymore?? This was a short version of my story
Hi I've been with Valiant since August of 2019. They initially promised us 100k sales within 6 months. They were very friendly until they took our money. And from that point on it started from late replies to our questions & concerns and just one line answers which didn't really answered the question at all to totally ignoring my emails. Then excuse after excuse for everything. When my store got suspended they kept saying they'll get it reinstated quickly but it never happened. They set me up with Reuben's service but that one failed as well. Because they got me invoices for something that Amazon wasn't asking for (said that's standard procedure ), so my appeal kept getting rejected to being permenanlty deactivated with over 6k stuck in my seller account. Everytime I asked them about my appeal rejections they said this was normal and I have nothing to worry about. The Customer service lady on the phone (Rodolie Marinon) said I would get a free upgrade to FBA if they couldn't get my store reinstated within 3 months. I had spoken with Steven prior to this when my store was still 2 months old. He said I could upgrade for 5 k anytime I wanted too. But anyway when I asked them to hold up their word they said they "had no knowledge of any of this and such things were never promised to anyone, however I can upgrade for 10k now which is a really good deal". When I told them I want a refund instead, they pulled out a clause in the contract and said they can't give me a refund due to that. But when I signed up, Chris Burris said I can get a refund anytime I wanted if things didn't go my way. Empty promises after empty promises.
ReplyDeleteWe took out a loan to start this business NOT as a get rich quick scheme, but as a source of passive income .We're hard working honest people who trusted Steven and his team to do what they promised based on what we found out in our research ( which now turns out to be false since a lot of the testimonials that you see on the website are from their inner circle employees/ partners. Not actual clients). This is clearly a ponzi scheme to cheat people out of their hard earned money and it needs to be stopped. And they need to be held accountable for this. We need our money back so we can all move on from this.
I have been with Valiant since Sept 2019. My store has been suspended twice, and still is, I have wasted my money and my time 35k funded from my retirement, I have talked to Amazon personally they have said I've been selling inauthentic products which mean products being sold are not authorized by the manufacturer or the supplier to be sold on any platform, . Also some of the products being sold and seen in the imaging online was not the same product being delivered. This type of practice needs to be stopped immediately valiant consultants is a shortcut business which are using their clients as their disposal
ReplyDeleteThe start of my business relationship with Valiant Consultants was in October 2019.
ReplyDeleteFast forward to December 2019. At this point, I waited for about 1 month for the first products to be listed on my store. I saw a notification in my email saying that 3 products were posted on my account for sale! I was excited that things were about to start happening. Almost immediately, I received multiple orders for products. "Wow, this is awesome and its really working like they said it would!" Is what I was thinking at the time.
However, here is when things start going down hill. The next day my account was suspended by Amazon.
At this point, I did what I needed to in order to provide the team with all of the necessary details to assist with getting the account back. Within their service agreement they said that they would be the ones in charge of getting each and every account reinstated. This part was true, they sent multiple appeals to Amazon. However, these attempts were not fruitful and the account remained suspended. Bad luck I guess...
Throughout this time, I was frustrated and felt like I had no choice but to take their offer for the free upgrade to FBA DFY in order to keep myself from losing all of my investment. So thats what I ended up doing. Let's try this again.
Fast forward to April 2020. They upgraded my account to FBA and sent me the requirements that I needed to fulfill on my end. I took care of everything that they requested and set up an LLC with all of the appropriate tax information. I handed over the account information and sent an email to their support hotline letting them know that I was ready to get things moving.
I was told that my account looks good and that they will be getting started with it shortly. This is key: I was told that I should expect my first PO within 4 WEEKS. This meant I should see some items posted in June. I was ok with this timeline.
4 weeks go by and of course there are no products and no PO. I message them again and ask them about my store. I am told that there have been delays due to them needing to move warehouses and that the timeline they provided was just an estimate. Once again, they tell me that I should need to keep waiting and I will see the PO in July. Frustrating, but I consider myself to be patient so I wait.
July comes around and there is still no progress! At this point I am thinking that there is something off about this situation and I ask deeper questions about their warehouses and their process. I really need to know whats going on. I simply get more un detailed responses and am told to wait ANOTHER 4-6 weeks. Unbelievable! I consider this their last chance.
Here we are in August and there is no surprise to see no progress being made regarding POs and products being added. During this time I had been in contact with their support staff and getting empty promises about when ill see the first PO. The last email I received with a so called update was that I should see the PO during the last week of August or the start of September. This is no longer something that I am willing to accept. They have lost my trust.
There is nothing that I can say other than they are con artists and have no idea how to run this type of a business at scale.
I sent my final email letting them know that I will be reporting them on BBB unless they reach out with an offer for a refund. I have let them know how disappointed I am with their service and lack of progress. This was supposed to be a premium service and has turned out to be the complete opposite.
The expenses that I incurred during this time include:
-$25K upfront fee
-$625 for tax services
-$150~ for LLC filing business expenses
-$300~ for 3rd party software memberships that were never used
-$400~ for Amazon Pro Seller Account
---$26.5K~ TOTAL--
TOTAL PROFITS: $0.00
Avoid Valiant Consultants at ALL costs! Do not believe their "care and concern" for your store. They don't care about anything other than taking your money!
My experience has been pretty much the same as other people. It started out with a sales representative persuading us to set up a store with them as profits would come in 6-12 months in. The sales rep would talk about how it wasn’t a risk because a refund would be guaranteed. He also spoke about how this whole program wasn’t a scam because in order for their company to make money, our stores would need to do well (because they take a percentage of our profits). And this is where my main concern comes in. There is no way that this company is generating a lot of revenue from the clients’ stores and yet they still need to pay their employees and use expenses for the company itself. I am hoping that our money is still there, but when thinking about it, there is a reason that this company is constantly trying to get new clients even though the results aren’t anywhere near what they project. They are taking peoples store setup fees and it seems like this is their only source of revenue. Like I said before, I am hoping our money is still there, but seems like this company is just trying to get as many setup fees as possible in order to keep their company going. I question whether or not they are actually able to make money if people are not constantly signing up. I hope the best for everyone as this has been hard on our family as well.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking on the company itself, it has horrible customer service for it’s high paying clients and something needs to be done. Their actions are fraudulent and I am glad people are banding together in order to take this company down.
PART I:
ReplyDeleteI signed up on the Drop Ship model in summer 2019. I had some sales, but no profit. I switched to FBA about 6 months after I'd initially signed up, but after talking with numerous other store owners, drop shipping and FBA, I realized I had made a mistake in thinking that shoveling more money into these idiots' laps was going to change anything - FBA stores that had invested almost 6 months prior still had no items listed and were being given the run around. I am now pursuing a refund like so many others. I know of a couple owners that hired attorneys to pursue refunds and they still didn’t get their full investment back. The credit debt that I’ve racked up solely because of Valiant is a cost I will just have to eat, but if I can get my initial investment for DS and the upgrade to FBA back, I’ll be glad to wash my hands of these scam artists. More than one owner has told me that to get any money back, Valiant has you sign an NDA that is essentially a gag order saying you won’t breathe a negative word about them or your experiences, even when it’s 150% truth.
Steven posts these obnoxious YouTube videos of him retiring his parents or an MTV Cribs style walk-through of his new $8mm condo in Miami, all the while the people whose money he’s paying for all of it with are angry, demanding answers, basically begging for their $ back and being met with excuses and threats. Steven, if it needs to be said, is a narcissistic man-child that could not care less about the people that gave him money to deliver on promises they’ll never see fulfilled. It’s amazing that he continues to not only advertise to sign up new clients, but that people continue to give him $. Insane. The ‘company’ (using that word loosely) is being run by basically children that happened upon a lucrative dream to sell people and now they’re all sleeping on piles of money while the ones that provided the piles are SOL.
Click the link to his FB profile for a visual of a douchebag in a pool, waxing poetic about all his ‘haters’ – mind you, his ‘haters’ are his pissed off client.
Steven has references ‘The Secret’ more than once. It was hardly the first red flag - this dude is running his company off some new age belief about drawing things to himself through positive thinking. I guess he hasn’t figured out how to draw all the same positivity to his clients' results. But, hey, as long as he's comfy in his 8 million dollar condo, kicked back in his skin tight man-leggings, weird porn director button downs and grandpa loafers, he's not worried about much else. Living the good life.
When there was a Facebook group for all clients, before they deactivated it because people were starting to subtly suggest that they weren’t having the kind of results they were promised, they made it clear that if you complained or were negative in ANY way, you ran the risk of being kicked out of the group. That was the first red flag... then he put Paris Raine (yes, that was the girl’s name) as the main admin and moderator of the group. A quick search about her revealed that she is 19 years old, in with the Caleb Maddix and Grant Cardone type snake-oil sales people of the social media world and other than having a pretty face (if you’re into the whole caterpillar eyebrow thing that kids do these days), it was unclear what else she was bringing to the table. Her skills include wearing bright red lipstick and taking selfies. That was the 2nd big red flag...
I had to break this into 2 comments because of character counts. I'll post the second half next.
I originally signed with Valiant in September of 2019. After spending a ton of money for them to build and run a store, they kept pushing me to their business partners for more "services". My store was built, but was suspended before I ever had a sale. They then sent me to more business partners to spend more money for the suspension to be removed. The suspension was never removed. When I asked for a refund, they just offered to "upgrade" me to an FBA store. This would have required another $30k investment for products, with no proof that they would ever sell. This company cannot be trusted, and have scammed thousands of people over the past year. Complete Fraud!
ReplyDeleteMy nightmare began in November 2019. Signing up for Steven Mayer’s FBA scam (otherwise known as Valiant Consultants) has been the worst decision I have ever made in my life. They lie, cheat, steal, and will never be able to deliver on their promise to make me back my $30K that I paid them (which I took out of my retirement). As of the beginning of August 2020, I am showing a profit of $600 since I started with them last November 2019, however that does not include the initial $30k investment. This also does not include the extraneous shipping fees they charge, nor does it include fees for their terrible Sales.Support tool and the repricing tool. So in reality, I am in the negative by at least -$32,000.
ReplyDeleteThese are the people who work for Valiant that I’ve been passed around to over the last 9 months: Steven R (horrible POS), Apple (yes her name is Apple), Alvaro Ruiz, Jay, Stephanie McDaniel, Jankie Villacorte, Paris, Gene N., Vinnitsa Ulloa, and Aljhun G. Not one of them has been honest or reliable.
This company (I use that term lightly) has lost/stolen/misplaced a lot of my inventory and they constantly bill me "prep and pack" charges here and there and I have no idea what they are for. They do not monitor my store – I have been the one responding to customer questions and complaints, and dealing with Amazon cases (i.e. inventory recon, removals, etc). They have caused me to become financially strapped due to VERY poor choices in selecting inventory with zero or negative profits (some of which I am now being charged excess inventory fees on by Amazon). I have spent more than $30,000 on inventory, and still have about $8000 sitting on Amazon not selling because there are so many other sellers selling the same products. They also have a habit of just charging my credit card for other people’s fees or other miscellaneous items. I’ve had to ask for refunds multiple times, and recently had to open a case with American Express to refuse the charge.
I cannot even pay my credit card bills from the inventory they made me purchase, and my credit score went from 750 last November to 640 just today. They are terrible people and thieves, and they deserve to get what’s coming to them. I have asked at least 10 times for the contact info for their legal department/representative and I get no response.
DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN THIS SCAM!!
I just received an email today from a Valiant saying that they are working really hard on my suspended account and now it’s up to Amazon to reinstate it but in meanwhile I should open another account in my family members name or my friends name to make sales I haven’t heard from them in six months all the sudden they are sending me updates on my account this guy has some nerve just give me my money back and go to hell ,I lost everything because of Steven Mayer
ReplyDeleteI'm the same bout as everyone else, broken promises on a 100% risk free money back guarantee investment from Steven Mayer. I joined over 15 months ago just to get ignored and my store barely worked on, lost a huge amount of money in the process. The inventory they purchased is mostly still in their warehouses.
ReplyDeleteSteven Mayer and the other two owners Mike Fisher and Justin Preer planned this exit scam a long time ago. First they stopped the "client support/help" calls they had and said if you'd like to book a call do it through the email support, so they wouldn't have phone help anymore. Then he stopped refunding clients or offering partial refunds because their stores made no money or lost money and his legal team wouldn't respond to anyone. Then he made a bunch more facebook video ads and tossed a huge amount of money into them with fake likes and positive comments from his sales team to try and sell as many stores as he could before they pulled out. Then they stopped replying to negative reviews/complaints on trustpilot and BBB. They also shut down the BBB for the Canada company to try and hide the negative reviews and open the USA BBB business, but then they were getting negative reviews and complaints there too so they stopped responding the all of them. Then Steven deleted or made private all the Automation series videos on YouTube. Remember the case study videos and he was supposed to give away that successful store? Never happened, all gone. Then he shut off the "book a call" for potential clients (on the .co site) just prior to pulling the plug. At the same time, he completely took off the valiantconsultants.net (not .co) website where there was information for current and potential clients, it now is redirected to clickfunnels and I think it'll forever be discontinued. After the recent scam videos came out online (coffeezilla) they sent an email to us all saying its not true and they are working hard on all the stores. This is planned well because no one can see the back end and if they "work" on fulfilling some orders and just slowly stop everything it will be gradual and eventually just completely fade away without a trace.
I'm looking forward to the lawsuit and glad everyone is coming together for it. I'm sure some of us have access to spread this on various media outlets, not just youtube (video already has 80k views so I'm sure coverage on this story could get some attention if launched correctly). I'm fairly sure they signed up well over 1200 stores on the conservative end which is $36 Million just in start up fees at 30k a store. Not to mention all the other extras that basically everyone else had to do to start. I don't even want to get into how overpriced all the business set up things were. Tax exemption and an LLC set up for like 3k -4kUSD? All through friends and everyone gets a cut on their side, of course. Monthly start up fees for $500 for 3 months, there is another $1500 a head which is another 1.8mill on the 1200 stores. Also the shipping fees for products had mistakes that if people didn't catch they would be overcharged, plus the 30%-40% of profits for the "management fees" were inaccurate I saw through a few people who sent me their numbers so I wouldn't be surprised if they overcharged those unless someone crunched their numbers. Then there is the lost inventory, who knows where it all ended up. What a mess.
Also, apart from Steven Mayer, we need to include his business partners Mike Fisher and Justin Preer in the lawsuit because they all are part owners and blocked/ignored me when they could have done the right thing but chose not to. I get replies from support that says I need to contact the legal team and they can't help me. Well here is the catch, I've constantly been emailing their legal team for 2 straight months and never got 1 single reply back. Disgraceful.
Our overall experience is a nightmare with Valiant. , We feel like we've been taken for granted and hustled. We were lied to from day 1. We were promised ourbusiness with start immediately. We contacted them multiple times asking about a money back guarantee. They said there was none, however before we signed up they said it was. We have given all of our savings and have nothing to show for it. They lied and took our money. So angry. $15,000 gone overnight just like that. My life is changed forever. Valiant is a false company that is deliberately lying to people to get large sums of money. Mika Carter, at least that's the name given to us, is part of this elaborate scheme.
ReplyDeleteYour lucky you lost 15k.. most of us lost 30k+, the people that came over from drop shipping that was with the company for a while lost the least cuz i know of one that only paid 5k to switch over to wholesale. They made some money in drop shipping before they were sold lije all of us that this will make money overtime 6-12 months but that was a joke. Steven mayer hopefully gets what is coming to him.. jail time you bastard
